The LED lights are bright, although the picture quality is pretty poor. For using on Skype, it will just about suffice, but if you wanted it for anything else you should probably spend a bit more! At the moment I can't get the microphone element of it to work, but that might just be my old computer, so I don't know what the sound quality is like. It is quite clever, in that you can quite easily clamp it to monitors/laptops or just leave it freestanding on the desk. It does have a very cheap and pasticky feel, and the USB cable isn't that long either.Overall - as long as I can get the sound to work - it's fine for Skype etc ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fine for me *by M***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 September 2012* I have had other webcams as well as those integrated into a laptop.This is good value and works fine with a focussing ring and a switch for a light.All webcams are hazy/fuzzy in low light conditions but I found this was pretty good and I rarely need to use the light - running under windows 7 so maybe it somehow auto adjusts ?For the price I would recommend. This replacement worked really well, just plugged it in and made a slight adjustment to the focus. Works great with good sound and vision on Skype which is what i bought it for. Even has extra lights.I use it on my pc but this unit is quite small and is ideal for a laptop webcam.
