I dont know if he will ever see this but I am really impressed by his customer care and politeness and the note he left with the smiley face on it. :-)The washingline of course, being a Brabantia is perfect and exactly what it is supposed to be. It really doesnt get any better than this. This is my 3rd Brabantia line in 40 years... the last one was a small 3 arm I gave to my mum as she needed a smaller one so we swapped. This one is to replace the rust bucket creaky old line she swapped for. I had had that line since my children were babies and as they are young adults now, a 5 year warranty goes a long long way. That line will out live my mum. My first line was one my nan gave me and pretty sure that was at least 10 years old then. I loved that line but had to leave it behind when I moved as it was concreted in. This new one is to replace that. I could wax lyrical about Brabantia washing lines, but if you know, then, you know. Dont waste money on cheap imitations or inferior brands, save up get a Brabantia, it will last you forever. (assuming you dont concrete it in or swap it with your mum!) Perfect washing line, easy to use, individual lines that dont get tangled, and as its a lift o matic is really easy to put up and down and have at different heights (important for the vertically challenged like myself) has a really nice cover and a decent lawn spike as well. All in all worth the money.

Really pleased with this. Good quality, easy to install, rain cover is the perfect fit. Can easily hang bedsheets and hold loads of washing.

Having spent an embarrassingly long time reviewing rotary airers online, I bought the Brabantia Lift-O-Matic- 60 Metres.Really pleased I did. I was a bit worried about the ground spike, we have very ‘stoney’ grass and I wasn’t convinced it would go in at all - let alone straight, but it did.This is a really good quality item. Sturdy, well made, with so much space for clothes and bed linen.The lift action on this is a dream - it glides effortlessly to the highest setting. It is a lovely height for me, I’m 5ft 6, and I can walk past it without fear of banging into the corner arms.I wasn’t sure if the 60 metres would look too big for where I wanted it, a small corner of my garden, but it is perfect. I wanted to keep the lines clean, so I bought the Brabantia Premium Protective Cover separately, available on Amazon. Really worth buying, very good quality, with zip to make it easier to put on - looks good too.

Pros:1. Very robust once installed2. Large drying area for clothes3. Easy to put the arms up and downCons:1. Ground spike is VERY large (width & length), comes in parts and needs "constructing". The bolts provided didn't go in the drilled holes very easily at all so needed lots of effort to be done up using a different Allen key to that provided2. Per 1. above it takes a LOT of effort and strength to bang the large spike (approx 12-14 inches long) into the ground (just hope you don't have rocks or stone under there!)

Bought to replace my existing one, which actually lasted over 10 years, so I do like the Brabantia brand. This new one is very easy to put up & down. Came with a cover, handy for the Scottish weather. My husband installed the included spike & said it was very sturdy, better than the existing we had.

Product arrives in a large cardboard box that is about two meters long. It’s a nicely finished product. Looks expensive.It's mostly in one piece. Removing the outer plastic film and the ground-spike falls out, which has been split in half. I am not completely sure why they supplied it in two halves, but it only takes a minute to join them together.While the spike is strong, the moment I looked at it I realised it was not going in my soil. My back garden in heavy, compacted clay soil. No way it would go in to that. So, change of plan, I had to dig a "post hole" in ground and pop out for some quick-set concrete.I used a couple of pieces of wood and cable ties to point the pole straight up, then surrounded the spike with concrete, fairly dry so it didn’t ingress in to the hole in the spike, and left it be for a few hours. No doubt it will move, in time, but for the moment it’s vertical and strong.Using the line, it's very smooth to lift and nice and tall so you can get the washing well off the floor. It's also easy to adjust the line so the height is lower for people of a lesser loftiness.Everything works very well. Pleased with the purchase. It's worth the extra little money it costs.Recommended.

Absolutely brilliant rotary washing line. The best I've owned. Really sturdy and very spacious. I can fit four loads of washing on it at a time. The perfect size for bed linen and larger items. Easy to fold up and down. Well worth spending the money as I've bought cheaper in the past and they weren't nearly as sturdy, and didn't last.
