It is just the right size, design and height to make ironing really quick and efficient. I have a condensing iron and the under shelf is a great idea for keeping the steam unit out the way and this also keeps the board more stable. I also like the design - it's like ironing on a sleek surf board!! Silly to get excited about an ironing board, but I did ... it makes a rotten job more enjoyable and easy. Great value for money too and the board itself is ventilated metal so it's strong but not too heavy to handle.

**Q: How tall?**
A: It will go to 37" from the ground which is way too high for my 5'2" and a tealeaf height. It adapts from approx 12" to whatever height you need right up to the 37".

I can't usually be bothered to write a review but this ironing board is fantastic. It is just the right size, design and height to make ironing really quick and efficient. Easy to open and close. Holds the weight of the steam generator iron well. Easily adjusts too. Ironing cover is ok ish. It is a separate layer of foam with a fabric cover placed on top. Hence no five stars
