Review: A perfect beginner's airbrush kit - I cannot recommend this highly enough for someone wanting to get into airbrushing. In fact, I have recommended this to people who have gone on to buy it. The airbrush itself is absolutely fine. It’s not top of the range, but at this price point that’s absolutely not the expectation. The dual action nature of this airbrush means it is the perfect stepping stone towards a more expensive brush, and allows the user to form good habits. I will admit I have since replaced this airbrush – I damaged it through entirely user error, and felt the time was right to upgrade to a slightly better option. However, I still use the compressor and hose, and barring mechanical failure, I’m not sure I will ever feel the need to replace these. The compressor does the job very well – it would be nicer if it had a slightly larger tank, but that’s the tradeoff at this price point and, indeed, form factor. Fair’s fair – I have never used the included paints. I have used the included wire brush, but have needed these less than imagined. If you’re looking to get into airbrushing, buy this kit. Fantastic value, and scales well when you want to expand into a more premium price point brush.
Review: Well made quality. - Buy cheap buy twice is my other half's mantra and boy wash she right. I bought a cheap airbrush for my model aeroplane builds and spent most of my time cursing and blinding. That is now consigned to the bin and this, at twice the price, is actually doing the job really, really well. It's taken a learning curve as I am new to airbrushing but this has now been about my skills and not bad tools! Quality bit of kit.
