But if you want just save old slides this is the perfect solution. I have around 1500 slides, some of them are more as 50 years old laying in a box inside my garage and needed something to bring them back to life in the digital world. I started now scanning the old slides and after a while you will find your routine to do it a bit faster. The quality of the scans is pretty good always remembering the quality and age of the slides. I transferred the pictures to my computer and started doing some work with the photo software and adjusting color and contrast. It takes a while but if you are a little bit patient you get the job done and the results are pretty good. I find that the regular printer actually scans photos better. I tried to take a black piece of foam over the photo, but it is still there and the color is a little off. Really disappointed with this.
