Review: Great latex for a mask. - We bought this to make an animatronic that my teenage son was creating. He 3D printed the hands and head, then made a negative mold with silicone caulk. We weren’t sure if the latex was going to dry in the silicone. It did as we did a few thin layers and it worked great. We tinted the latex with those 99 cent bottles of craft paint. It worked great.

A: You need a plaster mold for casting latex to set.

A: Once your mold is cured you may pour melted wax into it. Latex molds make excellent candle and wax castings.

**Q: does this product contain ammonia ?**
A: Liquid latex is made of 33% latex, 66% water, and less than 1% ammonia (to increase its shelf life and to control the pH of the solution)

**Q: Is there a catalyst available to acceleratethe curing of this product?**
A: Use a hairdryer, small heater, or carefully use a heat gun.

I always swore by the French modeling clay without sulfur but so far this is so much easier to work with plus it was so much cheaper. Highly recommend
