Not anymore, put a drop of this in a plastic container, dropped in my thick silver necklace, swirled it to cover all parts. 5 minutes later took it out, polished up easily removing dark residue/grime build up which was obvious to see the extent on the Polishing cloth. Put a bit bicarbonate of soda in a plastic container with small amount of water and a drop of washing up liquid. After a 2 minute swirl around over my submerged chain I removed and again polished up the chain. In less than 10 minutes it looks brand new and as good if not better than what a jewellery shop charges for. This bottle will last a very long time and is simply the best thing I've purchased in a long time.
