I keep mine clipped onto my bag so it’s ready to use as soon as I am seated at any table. The clip opens wide to fit around most tabletops and the rubber grip holds it in place. It keeps my bag off the floor and off the table. I like that my bag can be right next to me and not on the back of the chair behind me, where someone can easily lift it and walk away (it happened to my friend).
