Using this in veggie and mushroom dishes adds an extra dimension to your cooking, great in curries, fab with fish and just generally great with anything you want make slightly more fragrant and exotic. I like to make a carrot and swede puree and a dash of mace takes it to the next level - from this world to the heavens.

This was not mace it was nutmeg definitely not mace the very dark colour was nutmeg I am not happy
