Would you recommend the L or XL?** A: Sounds like you're a "tweener." I'm 15.25 which puts me into the outside range of the XL and the beginning range of the XXL. I tried the XL for the snugger fit but the adjustable straps (that originate in the back) were pinching the flesh in the back of my knee... without pulling them tight at all. So I ordered the larger size, kept both for a week and compared that way. The XXL has stretched out a bit at the top and the bottom, which can be dealt with by tightening the straps. And when I do that, I don't get the pinch of the XL. My recommendation would be to buy both and return one. Yes I was a bit surprised, and disappointed, but to be honest if I needed a replacement I would buy the same again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like having a new knee *by M***N on 23 March 2016* Will seem tight as a sleeve opposed to a wrap around but I tried the bigger size which was also tight even tho the hinges were far too big and once I'd broken it in it was fine, stick to the guide chart! As for the quality of the product, not only was it extremely well made but it did it's job better than I could've ever imagined. I did some minor ligament damage about 4 years ago and have since caused cartilage damage from multiple further injuries resulting from the 1st, some skiing, some drunken dancing, some simply running, the knee just crumbles underneath me. It doesn't hurt but I won't be able to get up for a few minutes or walk properly for a couple of days. Every time the knee gets weaker causing injuries to occur easier and more often but more to the point I could no longer ski for more than a few hours at a time before it was too weak and the other leg was burning from doing all the work. From the moment I put this support on I felt indestructible again and even had a little go in the park for the 1st time in a couple of years!
