It's 8" deep with 6mm padding. Otherwise Hobgoblin Music does a Glenluce Standard 16" Bodhran Bag which is 4" deep with 6mm padding . This is £14.99. They are currently out of stock on this one until mid May. **Q: Are these genuine remo drums?** A: As far as I know this is a genuine item. There is nothing to suggest that it isn't. I bought mine after getting to play one which belongs to a friend who is an accomplished musician.
