Review: Excellent value - Excellent stuff although I'm a bit miffed that "Long Long Way To Go", a song the band didn't even write and which sounds like The Backstreet Boys or some nonsense is on here, when "Promises" is not. Come on, what's that all about? "Promises" is one of their best songs and was released as a single so why's it missing? The best part of it is, though, that the digital download you get for free with this CD contains double the amount of tracks! Don't get me wrong, I already own all the albums but this is handy to take in the car or whatever. Really good value for money and genuine classic songs. Can't wait to see them again in December in Glasgow! Review: Best of Def Leppard - I got this as a replacement for my old and badly damaged cd of theirs called "Vault". It is exactly the same album with all the sames songs on it, in the same order. BUT they have put an extra track in the middle that wasn't on "Vault". It's called "Long Long Way to Go". They fitted it in between "Action" and "Make Love Like a Man". So I'm very happy. The only difference being the additional track, the band's emotional 2002 hit single 'Long Way To Go', which has been slotted in. You might be interested in purchasing the two-disc set Best Of Def Leppard , which contains an additional 17 tracks, mostly songs from the band's albums, including their excellent cover of The Kinks' 'Waterloo Sunset', which is well worth hearing. All of the obvious, radio-friendly songs that we know and love are all here on the single album. This is good old classic-rock music with great guitar playing, catchy hooks, and strong melodies. Up-tempo rockers like 'Pour Some Sugar On Me', 'Photograph' and 'Let's Get Rocked' will lift you're mood onto a high, and beautiful, not-so-sugary ballads like 'Love Bites' and 'When Love and Hate Collide' will move you emotionally. At the risk of sounding very cheesy, the 17 songs on here are all killers, no fillers.
