Only big enough for letters otherwise and no good for small parcels. Good price too. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars DESIGN NEEDS ALTERING! *by T***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 August 2015* When it was first put on our gate we had a problem due to the thickness of the wood, as we cut the hole to the size of the front letterbox (Liffey is on the rear). The Liffey posting slot is quite shallow - about half the size of a normal letterbox, so that when post was put in it either bent back on the exposed part of the casing or went straight through the lid part on the other side and landed on the floor!. Had to bend up angle piece under top lid, then cut casing with hacksaw to size of front letter slot.
