Very effective and stay in place even without the cord
I’m an average size adult and have found these ear plugs very effective. Personally I don’t like the cord it comes with so I simply pull them out. They are just lightly glued in. I’ve tried other plugs from boots but they were far too small for my ear and didn’t seal at all. These plugs are just the right size and come in sets of two pairs so they are quite inexpensive compared to others I’ve seen. They are re-useable and I do wash them in soap after each use. However the swimming pool water treatment will degrade them with each use and they will start to discolour and go soft after a month or two from daily use. One pack should last you two to three months of daily use so in my opinion that’s not bad value.
