Gardena is well-known brand too, so seemed a good deal. The pipe is good quality, but very rigid - for me it was ideal as I only needed something long to go around the perimeter of the garden: it was to be the main feed for other pipes that would then tap into it. So far so good, although it was a nightmare to run behind sheds and fences due to the unyielding nature of the material. I have been able to tap into it with the Hozelock 4mm straight connectors for micro-irrigation, but it was very hard to screw in, even with the hose punch.
