Review: Really good quality Mic - I've been trying different microphones for podcast interviews and voiceovers for screen recordings and haven't found a good one until I finally decided to try this one. It doesn't disappoint. It's clear, good quality, and sounds nice. I use it with a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface with an XLR splitter for both left and right channels. It sounds awesome.
Review: Quality - High Quality product, very Happy, Grt one if you can

## Features

- IN THE BOX: 1x Rode PodMic cardioid dynamic broadcast microphone, 1x StreamEye BOOMARM1 desktop boom arm, 1x 10-foot balanced XLR cable. A broadcast-ready podcast, streaming, and voiceover mic setup for desktop recording in untreated rooms.
- CLAMPS TO ANY DESK, PLUGS IN OVER XLR: The StreamEye boom arm clamps to a desk edge and swings the mic to your mouth, then the included 10-foot balanced XLR cable runs to your audio interface or mixer. 27 inches of reach and a 2.8 lb capacity keep the PodMic where you set it without sag.
- RADIO-VOICE DYNAMIC CAPSULE: The PodMic's dynamic cardioid capsule delivers a rich, broadcast-ready voice and rejects room reflections and background noise so untreated rooms still sound clean. A 20 Hz to 20 kHz range with an internal shockmount keeps rumble and desk thumps out of the recording.
- BUILT FOR STREAMING, VOICEOVER & GAMING: An internal pop filter tames plosives and the all-metal body handles daily desktop use, so you record podcasts, livestreams, voiceover, and game audio without extra room treatment. The tight cardioid pattern stays focused on your voice a hand's width away.
- WORKS WITH ANY XLR INTERFACE OR MIXER: The balanced XLR output plugs into any interface, mixer, or preamp with clean gain, with no proprietary connectors or drivers. The boom arm holds any standard 5/8-inch dynamic or condenser up to 2.8 lb, so it carries over to whatever mic you upgrade to.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Mic
*by J***. on January 10, 2025*

So, I wanted a RODE mic for a very long time, I’m a musician who plays Christian Black Metal 🎸 🤘🏻I didn’t think 🤔 there’d be a cheaper RODE mic. 🎤 I originally thought 💭 of a $250-$700 mic 🎙️, but after seeing good and bad reviews on higher end mics you’re not getting away from that anymore. Why not save some money 💴 and buy a Pod dynamic mic 🎙️ ? It’s cheaper has MOSTLY high reviews instead of low reviews and it has a built in pop filter which works AMAZING 🤩. Just like cheaper other brands of guitars 🎸 that work fine, cheaper 🎙️ mics work fine too, so far so good. The ONLY complaint I do have is everybody’s right about the boom 💥 arm being lighter than the actual mic 🎙️ itself. But I am keeping it for now and we’ll see what happens. One last thing, you have to turn this particular mic 🎙️ up higher on the interface you have because not all 🎙️ mics are the same.
