To back up use of vacuum I need a day to day sweep up of the dust that gathers at the edges of these floors.....normally absorbed by a carpet. Good to be able to be dust free, but need a good broom as well as vac. This is my fourth try in a few years and best so far. Sweeps fine as well as bigger debris really well. Very pleased. Almost no accumulation of 'dust clumps' on the bristles.....a constant problem with other brooms, including an expensive one, I was always 'defluffing' past models on outside brick wall! No longer! Another reviewer spoke of only one way sweeping possible. This is true but alongside it's very good efficiency, I find this no problem at all. And I think this feature helps to keep the bristles straight.
