From the manufacturer Objective Work together to defend your Castle from Monsters. Slay all of the Monsters and have at least 1 Tower standing to win. Step 1: Get Cards Draw up to a full hand. Then plan strategy together. Discard and trade cards to finetune your hand. Step 2: Fight Monsters Hit and slay Monsters by matching your cards to the board positions of the Monsters. Step 3: Move and Add More Move the Monsters 1 space closer to the Castle. Then draw 2 more Monsters. Place them in the Forest with die rolls.

**Q: What is the age group for this game?**
A: I play this game with four kids ranging in age from 6 to 13. After just a few minutes of playing, my 6yo had the rules down solid. I would say any kid 10+ should be able to pick it up without difficulty, and most kids from 6-7 should be able to figure it out with some help from an adult or older kid.

**Q: How well does this game work for one player?**
A: This game works perfectly well as a solitaire game. The strategy involved is shallow, but there aren't many choices for 1-player board games either.

**Q: is it realish?**
A: I'm not sure what you mean by realish, but it won't cause any nightmares for young kids. The "bad guys" are drawings on thick paper tokens that lay flat on the game board. No blood, no gore. It's as "real" as the players imagine it to be. Our family likes to role play a bit--so when we use the card with the archer on it, we pose as though we are shooting a bow at the orc token laying on the board. But that's by our choice. The "bad guys" are drawings on tokens. The "good guys" are drawings on cards to be used by the players. The stronger bad guys have more hit points, so require more hits to defeat. There are a few hero-types that can deliver more damage than the typical defender. The add-on (sold separately) adds magic to the game. Hope this helps.

**Q: How well does this game play with 2 people?**
A: The game play with two players is just as fun as with 4 or 5. There are small adjustments with more players, such as number of cards in hand for each player. But this game is actually more challenging and more fun with 2 to 3 players. Hope this helps.

Such a great game that everyone in the family can play with equal skill/luck. Great with mates and a few beers as well. Can get a bit rowdy though. Simple to learn, easy to play and we love it! Great quality components, sturdy, and looks like it will last for ages.
