Review: Great addition - These brushes are made very well. They are quite big but they’ll be a great asset to your collection and I prefer them over my slimmer brushes. Nice thud
Review: Big brushes, nice sound - They are a large pair of brushes/ sticks with much thicker handles than "normal" drum brushes. The two bands on each stick give a choice of tones from a soft brush sound to one similar to a hand beat. The construction, though quite sturdy, isn't as refined as some other makes. However this does not affect their playability. One thing to note is that after a short time of playing the sticks bend, even with gentle tapping. The size suits my large hands and they are capable of producing a wide range of tones. A useful addition for the Cajon player

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How are these different than the vbm brushes?**
A: The Cajon brushes are thicker than the monster brushes. They're made of the same wavy strands, but there are more strands in the cajon brush. I'd say the cajon brush is 3/4-inch in diameter while the Monster is 1/2-inch (not home atm, so estimating).

I use both styles for my cajon, but mostly the cajon brush. The thickness gives you a great bass beat while the monster lets you play a little lighter.
