Review: Best speaker that I ever used - I bought this boombox to use in camp and it was INCREDIBLE! First of all the sound quality is amazing, I tried out some songs with strong bass some songs with complicated electric guitar sounds and it came out insanely good, like I could actually hear every detail of the instrument. Then the sound was also really loud especially when played indoors, it would fill every corner of the room with aound, and even outside you could hear it a long way off. And this is all in a speaker which is very easy to carry (also, i bought a strap to wear it separately, i would suggest that) and walk around with since it's relatively small compared to some of those huge speakers, and it has a nice handle to hold it with. I also hear that it was waterproof so I chucked it in the lake and it continued playing while deep under water, so I stuck my head under and was able to hear it under the water, but at one point it shut off due to a safety feature, and once I pulled it out of the water it continued playing. It also floats in the water, so you can let it chill in the water while playing music. It also has a pretty long battery life, it lasted me like 5 to 6 hours daily on full blast. It also has a usb charging port so you can charge your phone. It is a little bulky and heavy compared to the small jbl speakers, but compared to the average speaker that has such sound capabilities, it is very easy to walk around with. I would suggest anyone to buy this speaker if you are looking for a powerful and easily movable speaker!!!

A: The loudness is determined by the sensitivity of the speakers. I have a system at home that produces 102dB of SPL w/ 1 watt. So the previous comment is nonsense.

**Q: can you play an ipod connected to the speaker?**
A: Yes you can .🙂 There are 3 connections in the back cover port , one for the ac cord , one for a usb charging cable and a hole in the middle for an ear phone plug input cord to connect any output sound sources , I pod , tablet , DJ mixer ,cd player, phone , record player ,tape player ,tv sound output and all with a volume control and ect .When you plug it in , auxiliary sound will be selected automatically to start playing the sound .Make sure the volume from both the sound source input and the JBL speaker are set at a minimum to prevent blowing the speaker 🔈.

I bought this boombox to use in camp and it was INCREDIBLE! Then the sound was also really loud especially when played indoors, it would fill every corner of the room with aound, and even outside you could hear it a long way off. And this is all in a speaker which is very easy to carry (also, i bought a strap to wear it separately, i would suggest that) and walk around with since it's relatively small compared to some of those huge speakers, and it has a nice handle to hold it with. I also hear that it was waterproof so I chucked it in the lake and it continued playing while deep under water, so I stuck my head under and was able to hear it under the water, but at one point it shut off due to a safety feature, and once I pulled it out of the water it continued playing. It also floats in the water, so you can let it chill in the water while playing music. It also has a pretty long battery life, it lasted me like 5 to 6 hours daily on full blast. It also has a usb charging port so you can charge your phone. It is a little bulky and heavy compared to the small jbl speakers, but compared to the average speaker that has such sound capabilities, it is very easy to walk around with. I would suggest anyone to buy this speaker if you are looking for a powerful and easily movable speaker!!!
