Now I can play all my games I used to play as a kid and get beat by my parents for playing Gameboy instead of doing my homework. The pain of those beatings came flooding back to me when I loaded up Donkey Kong Land 2. The emotional and phantom physical pain was so intense I went blind. I have tried it on an original gameboy, a gameboy pocket, gameboy color, gameboy advance and gameboy advance sp and it works flawlessly on all of them. It lets me have all my games in one unit which is nice as I don't want to keep plug in and unplugging those old cartridges that which are already pretty old.Put your ROM's on an sd card, plug it into the unit and off you go. Notice that this will only play gameboy and gameboy color ROM's. It will NOT play gameboy advance ROM's. You will need to buy the Everdrive for the Advance to play those ROM's.This unit has a great feature to get back into the main menu. Instead of having a special button combination to remember (which might also not work depending on the game), you simply slightly squeeze the top of the cartridge slightly. There is a switch inside that sends you back to the main menu. Very cool and easy to use.Plays all the ROM's I could throw at it without any problems and I put a LOT of them on the unit (over 3000).Highly recommend picking one up if you into playing on original gameboy hardware. Yes you can buy a one of those newer handheld consoles that let you play all the different machines in one, but there is nothing quite like playing on the original hardware.
