It seems sturdy, and I like that it has tall, firm walls all the way around. The deciding factor for me in purchasing this over other trays was the little bumper that is marketed as a device holder. This does a pretty good job of holding a tablet up, but the wall behind it tends to push the tablet forward if it (the wall) is not bent back enough. The wall is so sturdy that I have not been very successful in bending it back more permanently. We have also found that the snaps which hold the front wall (that rests against the body) tend to come undone pretty easily with pressure from arms resting on the wall, which unfortunately lies pretty flat. (This makes sense ergonomically speaking, though, and it still stops items from rolling off even when mostly flat.) The canvas is a bit hard to clean and the wipeable surface is slightly prone to stain (it is slightly pitted and collects dirt). Also, the carrying bag that the tray came with is extremely thin and cheaply made- the handle ripped off during our first use of it.However, all these things aside, this has still been a good travel tray. It is the only one in this style that I found on Amazon which has 4 tall walls, a cupholder, a non-invasive device holder, and a somewhat neutral color design, all in the same product. It is not perfect, but so far it has served us well. The issues I mentioned above are pretty negligible when compared to the overall function of the tray. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Roadtrip Lifesaver! *by M***. on December 18, 2017* This thing was great for my 2.5 year old's first road trip from LA to San Fran! He colored, played with cars, and ate his snacks on it the whole way. The cup holder is great, but a little small around for some cups- luckily we had a water bottle that worked just fine in it. Once it got dark, we set him up with a movie on my tablet and the little ledge worked perfectly for standing the tablet up and he was content! The tray worked better than I could have imagined! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far, so good! *by C***. on February 1, 2018* Just got it yesterday, but so far my son seems to like it! He's 19 months old and likes having a surface to play with his trucks on. And it's nice to be able to prop up his tablet at the same time. His cup fits well in the cup holder.
