Ok but not for strong let down/lots of leaks
Ive had these for a few weeks now as I wanted to give them a chance to achieve maximum absorbency before posting a review. They are super soft and comfortable but leave fluff on nipple. Because of the thick seam round edge they are quite visible through bras unless they're padded or you wear layers. For them to absorb well they seem to have to be DEAD CENTRAL on your nipple, we all know how hard that is to achieve. What i mean by that is that if, for example, at night, the pad moves as you move and your let down/leakage happens to be aimed at say, bottom 1/3 of the pad, that end will get saturated and leak through which has happened to me a few times now in day and night...I've used large pads at night and they have leaked through most nights sadly. Not as much of an issue during the day when the baby feeds more often, but at night its a problem. In conclusion, they're perfect for someone who doesnt leak much or doesnt have strong let down and has the patience to reposition them perfectly every time. Ok for daytime when you feed more often.

Not worth it
There is so many flaws with the design. First it leaves fluff on your nipple, not ideal. But the main problem for me is that it doesn't absorb well, it leave you feel "wet" and if you have a too much milk coming up it leaks through. Also it doesn't stay in place so during the night it moves out of the bra so easily so again, leakage.I didn't want to use disposable but they are so much more efficient..

Not so big after first wash, but works fine and just as well as others pads
First use, I loved these. I bought them because I wanted a large pad to cover changing breast sizes during night time feeds without worrying about the pads being in the right place. The absorbency has been fine as long as flow rate isn’t too fast. The annoying part of them is that they shrunk a little bit on the first wash, and having to wash every day without softener means that I end up having to hand wash. For some reason they seem to smell like bacon now, which isn’t very nice but still, it means that I don’t have to have another huge box of pads next to the bed.

Not as expected
after washing them before use, bits of the fluff would still come off and stick to the nipple. Even though it says it wouldn’t. Which is not ideal when baby is ready to feed. I found I had to wipe it before baby latched on. My flow was quite fast and so I found they didn’t absorb that much milk. But some mothers may have a slower flow and find them better. They come with a care label on them. I had to snip them off as they would make me itch. But even after taking it off, they would still irritate me. Maybe I just had a one off bad batch. But I wouldn’t buy these again I’m afraid.

Not cheap but by far the best.
Having bought several types of washable breast pads, I found that these were by far the best. They are by no means cheap, but they’re excellent quality. There are eight pads in the box, four larger and four smaller, and they are made of a luxuriously soft bamboo- just the thing when your breasts are that really sensitive stage while you're getting used to breastfeeding. They are thinner than other breast pads I have used, so not as prominent in your nursing bra. They also absorb any moisture really well, and dry quickly after washing.Another reviewer has commented on the effect machine washing these had on the pads. I have not found they have shrunk in the wash, but I found that by putting them in a small mesh garment bag in the machine (and in the tumble dryer too) this preserves them from bobbling or shrinking. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they come with a little label sewn on each, which seemed a bit unnecessary to me. I simply unpicked this so that the pads could be reversible. I'm really impressed with these pads and would recommend them to anybody breastfeeding.

Better than throw away ones but a bit scratchy
These reusable & washable breast were ok. They did the job but aren’t as comfortable as some other ones that I found that were contoured. After washing them a few times I also found them a bit scratchy. I think they are much better (and better for the environment) than the throw away ones but I prefer the contoured ones.

Comfy, absorbent and eco-friendly!
I was a little apprehensive to use reusable breast pads, but as long as you follow the instructions to give them a few washes before using them, then the absorbency is great. Comfy to wear and much better for the environment than disposables.Love that these come in different sizes for day and night! Not the most exciting to look at, but they just sit in your bra where they can’t be seen so why pay more for fancy fabrics??
