If you spray it and ride straightaway you might get a bit of a fling as it will not have the time to set properly. Review: Excellent Product. - I initially bought this as I noticed my chain was in need of oiling, as it had been raining heavy on the way home from work the night before but, I needed to use the bike at that moment and my usual routine involves leaving the oil on overnight to reduce any run off onto the back wheel. Popped round to the local bike shop, which luckily enough is only two streets away. Picked up a can of Wurths dry lube, gave the chain a good spraying and set off on my way. Worked a treat and with zero run off too, no more having to clean off the back wheel after oiling the chain is a huge bonus and I've used the product ever since. It lasts as well as any other type of chain oil I've used in the past and to be honest, I can't say anything negative about it. Thanks.** A: I have been using Wurth dry chain lube for years now having tried numerous others. It dries to a clear finish and is almost totally non fling. However, if you don't clean your chain regularly you will get a build up as with any other lube and it will look dirty. I ride a Triumph Speed Triple and lube the chain every 200 or so miles as per Triumph instructions and I clean chain and both sprockets every 1000 or so using WD 40 Chain cleaner which is very good but expensive but much less mucky than parrafin. **Q: Just applied it to the chain. I'm using it every 800-850 miles.The main quality is that is not flying around,on your rear wheel or exhaust.Extremely good quality.
