A: It adjusts itself as soon as you wrap it around the filter and pull the excess strap up

A: Yes it’s adjustable. It has two Allen keys either side holding the strap down . I just undo them at times when removing air drier filters. Especially good for working on HGvs.

A: Yes it's long enough for heavy plant machinery
