You could probably soften it. I guess by setting it in the sun, but I doubt it’s ever going to get soft enough to be as thin as paint. It needs to be out in a bit thick **Q: Will it damage the wood? We have nice cedar boards around the stalls.** A: It will be visible on the wood as it’s a paste. Better to have the paste on it if you have a chewer. **Q: How do you remove crib box off of metal bars?** A: Not sure, have not had to remove it, but I would think maybe really hot water would dissolve it.
