**Q: Can you put a hot iron in the holder?**
A: Hi. We do have both the options. With and without holder. It’s recommended to cool the iron before putting it in the holder.

**Q: Hi the mesh surface is made of steel or plastic?**
A: Plastic.

**Q: does this come with the iron?**
A: Hi. The board does not come with the iron. 

As for the iron holder, We sell both variants. With or without holder. Please order the model that suits your needs.

**Q: are covers machine washable?**
A: I haven't used this product yet; but we did wash the cover after receiving it.  We haven't put it back on the board, so I can't guarantee it hasn't shrunk any.  Personally, if it has, I'll put something else over the board; I like products I buy to be cleaned before using.

I was quite disappointed, but I decided to reach out to customer service to see if they could help. To my surprise, the customer service agent was incredibly fast in replying and very helpful. They promptly arranged for a replacement, and I received the new ironing table within a few days. The replacement ironing table is sturdy and works perfectly.
