This HbA1c or A1c test can measure the level of glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) in your blood over a period of 8 – 12 weeks. The first cartridge could be used straight away to provide a measure of the HbA1c in your blood over the last 8-12 weeks. The second cartridge could then be used after 8-12 weeks in order to maximise the "lifespan" of the kit, thereby giving readings over a combined period of 16-24 weeks (approx. 4-6 months). I seached online and found very little help there, found the cause of the first error but not the second. ### ⭐ Didn't work *by M***S on 5 March 2018* I followed the instructions carefully twice and got an error both times ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Be careful with the test process, pay a premium price and get quick results *by F***D on 13 July 2018* Good advice. I spoilt the first test. My fault. I did not fully push the raw sample properly into the mixing phial.AND I left the sample in the measuring bit too long AND I did not wait for the sample message to appear. I suggest very slowly reading and testing the instructions before EACH use. Then it will work. Also. This is exactly the same test as used my diagnosticians for a quick and accurate result. My only comment is that in the USA you can buy a 10 test kit for about the same price as the 2 test UK kit. Finally ...if you buy a 10 test kit keep in a sealed plastic bag in a fridge, leave to warm up for an hour before using. The tests only remain good at room temperature for about 120 days and you probably don't need to test yourself more than once every two months. Do all that ....it can be a fiddle if like me you tend to be impatient.....and you will get a result which is as accurate as a home test can be. Really finally. Im just a layperson.
