I have a small bunion that I noticed starting last year or so. Not very painful yet, but definitely starting to cause problems.I decided to try this solely because it is Dr Scholls, because I trust the brand enough to spend $15-20.These are very comfortable, much more so than the photo looks. The instructions are quite easy to understand, and the splint itself is easy to figure out. Very easy to adjust to fit. They seem very sturdy and well made, and I would be very surprised if they fall apart soon. The quality of the materials is very good, and they are very well made. No scratchy stitching or labels, and definitely no jagged velcro.I can feel the ligaments stretching when wearing it, and the information guide does explain that it can be uncomfortable at first because of this gentle stretching. For this reason it advises to start with 30 min at a time and work up to no more than 8 hours. For me, I can tolerate this “stretching feeling” for about an hour here at the beginning.Not sure it can reverse anything already happening, but definitely seems like it can keep things from getting worse at the very least.

Female, 35 years old, post surgical support.I wear about an 8.5 shoe on average, 9 in running/street shoe. Standard to “D” width, depending on shoe.My podiatrist offered another splint that worked well while I was wearing my boot post surgery however living with my bones as they were for 35y, muscle memory is strong. We agreed I would find another “firm” splint or brace.This arrived today so here’s what I know;Easy to use! The brace lines up easily to put on, and adjusts simply. The gel spot for around the bunion space is gentle, yet firm. I like it more than I suspected.Alignment feels “right”No pressure or pain on joint!! Yay!Straps feel loose yet supportive, no swelling expected! No rubbing or noticeable hot spots expected.I will buy again if needed.Updates -IF- relevant or necessary.

Easily to put on, already helping within days of using. Wear as long as you can tolerate, it does feel sore at first but gets better.

Comfortable enough to wear while watching a movie or game but both times I've tried wearing it to bed I've woken up with foot pain. Not ideal but it'll work along with taping when not wearing the brace.

Super helpful to straighten my toe. It can hurt since you are bending the toe/bone but overall it is helpful with my bunion!

This is an excellent product, and I wanted to share my experience. The silicone ring wraps around the big toe and bunion knuckle area, but after a few hours of wear, I noticed it left a noticeable indentation in my skin, which became uncomfortable. I was able to fix this by placing a small pad underneath, and that worked perfectly. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me, and I likely would have purchased it anyway, but it would have been helpful to know in advance. Hopefully, this review helps others!

You can wear this product all night since it has velcro and you can size to your foot. Not restrictive and stays on well. Recommend this product.

Just what I wanted. Very functional and they are better worn after a long day. I truly recommend if you are trying to keep your toes straight. Worth the money and easy to use, also very durable.
