Review: Works just fine, as intended, and durable (used many years) - This is a must for controlling the wood-burning stove. It has served me well over the past 5 years, I cannot remember exactly. It has not shown any rust, except the rod portion which has been exposed to the weather. The chrome came off. Then again, it is a light rust. The tin sectional chimney, however, has rusted away, and I replaced it after 5 years. This thing is going to last many a steel cased stove.
