Glogg Wide-Neck 750ml Stainless Steel Water Bottle - Carabiner Top

I decided to buy one of these stainless steel water bottles because I was seeking an alternative to plastic or lined aluminium bottles because of the inherent health risks associated with the 'leaching' of plasticides into the drinking water. Consequently, a BPA free water bottle was a top priority. Stainless steel also represented a stronger and more durable product which should take more knocks and last longer. I was also looking for a quality water bottle which I could fill up with a good volume of tap water which I could chill in the fridge to save the expense of buying bottled water. Ease of cleaning was also an important consideration which is why I opted for the wide top.Unfortunately, the first bottle Glogg sent me leaked due to a poor quality seal at the mouth of the bottle. However, after contacting Glogg they immediately sent me a replacement which was absolutely fine. The service which I have received from Glogg has been absolutely first class and cannot be faulted. This is a fine quality product which ticks all of the above boxes and offers superb value for money. Also, there aren't miles of threads to unscrew to open or close the top. Perfect. Highly recommend.

Sturdy...I was afraid the loopy top would break easirly, but it holds up very well. I don't use it very roughly (say for hard-core hikes or such), but I do use it often and for sports activities.Easy to wash because of the wide neck. But I don't like that the top is hollow on the inside so there's a big hole that needs washing and that accumulates some smell/bacteria.Does start to smell after 2 days without washing...a sort of mouldy smell (which doesn't really alter the taste), but I didn't really expect it to never smell what with all the bacteria in our mouths. I'm not sure how it compares to other similar stainless stell bottles in terms of smell/taste, but a wash every 2-3 days is enough to keep it nice and clean.I only use it for water so not sure about how well it would do with other liquids, though I don't think it's a good idea to put drinks that are very acid-y in a stainless steel container so I wouldn't use it for orange juice or other similar juices.Looks good, but I saw a Kleen Kanteen in real life a few days after I bought this one and it looked better. However, for the price I really can't complain. I think Kleen Kanteen is over-priced.

Just got my bottle in the last hour and it seems pretty good so far with one minor flaw, went to clean inside before first use as per instructions, filled the dry bottle and closed the top tightly and gave it a shake and there is some leakage, not a lot mind you but since I've bought this to take hiking I'll need to make sure to only fill it with water rather than diluting juice to save my clothes and bag from getting sticky if juice starts to leak.I reckon a wide rubber band over the seal should be enough to stop any major leakage during my travels.The bottle itself has a nice wide neck, feels sturdy but light, no rust spots or anything else untoward.The cap feels a little flimsy but providing you don't knock it too hard I can't see any real issues.All in all I'm pleased but the leakage and the feel of the cap are a potential cause for concern, however I feel both issues shouldn't cause any major problems.

I found this item when searching for a hard wearing everyday bottle that will hopefully last me a long while and so far the bottle has ticked all the boxes.Not much bothered about the BPA free thing especially, but it's nice to know no chemicals are seeping into my water. (Note: the review saying the bottle has a plastic lining is false, it has no lining, its just stainless steel.)Unfortunately the bottle arrived with a minor problem but since sending feedback saying such to Glogg/Amazon... Glogg send me a brand new one out of the blue, this time with the right packaging and in perfect condition. Thanks Glogg, great customer service.Neither of the bottles I have been sent have had any leakage problems, both seal up well with the screw top thankfully, a lot of the bottles I have has in the past have leaked in bags and so having a bottle you know will never leak is very valuable.

Well the service was first class it only took 24hrs to get this bottle , the bottle itself seems to be made of a solid stainless steel the only problem i have is that it leaks so is useless for me to go hiking with. When i look at the mouth of the bottle it is not straight and so that is were it leaks from , so now i just use it for work were it is not important as its just on my table all day pitty as it would be a great bottle.

I use this to always have cold water in the fridge (tap water is very good where I live). Solid bottle, easy to clean, no smells or tastes, looks good as new after almost a year of use.

Taints water

I bought three of these bottles to keep chilled water ready in my fridge, replacing a collection of old plastic bottles. The construction is excellent, I've dropped and banged them a couple of times and they have not dented. The brushed steel is very strong and scuff resistant. The wide neck makes them easy to clean, flush and fill.I've only one minor criticism of the bottle, which is that on one of my three, the white stopper seal detached. Luckily I retrieved it from the ground and reattached it. The seal may have been twisted. BTW you can still fully close the bottle with the screw in top stopper.The only bad thing about these is that the carabiners which come with the bottles are not good quality. One fractured, the hinge broke, within a week of arrival. I've since bought more resilient "Mil-Com 6mm Screw Gate Locking Carabiners" for carrying the bottles on my rucksack during exercise.

La primera que vaig demanar va arribar amb un abonyegat a la base i la vaig tornar, la segona ha arribat amb altre cop però en aquest cas mes petit, com en fa falta me la quedaré, no se si es culpa del manipulat d'Amazon o del fabricant però per si de cas no crec que torni a comprar Glogg, sense haver-la fet servir sembla que esta be, el tap es de plàstic codi 5 (PP) i junta de silicona.La primera que pedí llegó con un abollado en la base y la devolví, la segunda ha llegado con otro golpe pero en este caso más pequeño, como la necesito me la quedaré, no se si se culpa del manipulado de Amazon o del fabricante pero por si acaso no creo que vuelva a comprar Glogg, sin haberla usado parece que esta bien, el tapón es de plástico código 5 (PP) y junta de silicona.

Capienza, robustezza, leggerezza e resistenza adeguate. Non trasmette alcun odore/sapore indesiderato ai contenuti. Bisogna prestare un po' di attenzione quando si beve in quanto l'imboccatura è più larga di quelle con beccuccio che considero scomode per il fatto che la "portata" è limitata.
