How long can I store this product?** A: I saw no expiration date on the box. (Hopefully, it wasn't in Japanese!) I simply store it at room temp. in a cabinet. **Q: Is there somewhere you can buy it local** A: Hello, Yes you can, if the city that you live in has a Japanese market, it is very likely that they will carry this item as it is common. I apologize as this is the best answer that I can give with out knowing the city or state you reside in. **Q: Can I use this oil to remove makeup?** A: You could, but why would you want to? This is a luxury type oil, and better to be used as a leave-on oil, instead of wash-off/cleansing type oil. You can use RBO (Rice Bran Oil), which is much cheaper and much lighter, and would not make you feel greasy afterwards. This oil is not to be meant in huge quantity like taking your make-up off. I mean would you use an oil that costs $20 for 2 oz. just to wipe away your dirt?? No, that's not smart and not a good use of the luxury oil. This is a luxury oil. Take a few drops onto a palm after cleansing and putting water based serum etc., then put this oil (only a few drops, not a paddle of oil). That is how you use luxury concentrated oil that is very rich in oleic acid as well as phytonutrients **Q: How do we know this is Camellia Seed Oil and not some other oil sold at a premium?** A: The Japanese uses camellia Japonica (species), it is usually depicted large, red flowers. There are stamp to prevent fakes among other Japanese brands too. (Image looks very similar but the stamp and brand is different.) Oshima tsubaki is a very reputable and old company. This oil is cold-pressed. The company sell 40ml and 60ml for this oil. This is not the premium range of Oshimatsubaki company.
