I had a miniature tea set as a child of 7 or so and it was one of my favourite pocket money purchases.  This one is lovely.  I actually bought it for our hamster - and myself :-)  Initially for a photo of a hamster tea party, but since then the little plates (saucers actually but they double up as small plates) have proved invaluable for tiny little amounts of tasty soft food to mix medicine in with for the hamster - separate from his other food. And it just makes me happy seeing the hamster licking it up off a tiny litte plate ha ha.  I also think it's a bit more modern looking than some of the other sets.  It comes with a litte tablecloth as well.

Lovely little gift and toy, as noted on the item it is very fragile, we have purchased two of these as an item accidentally got damaged in the first set and already a breakage in the second. However my 5 year old would love to give it 5*.
