There was a video in which the guy pushed the washer onto the valve first, and then pushed the cap down. That method worked much better for me. The three radiators which were missing caps now slightly better and I believe that they are safer without the sharp top of the valve exposed. You will need the other valve handles. Get them from here or Screwfix do an adapter pack which fits most valve spindles. Here is the reference. They are held in place by a rubber style tap washer, with the valve stem pushing through the hole in the center of the rubber. They are decorative caps only, you remove them to adjust or close the valve. **Q: Will it work with a 10mm microbore valve.** A: Possibly, depends on the valve stem. The fit most valves, but remember they are lock shield covers only. You cannot alter the valve with them. **Q: I ordered a pack of 4 but was sent a pack of two. See attached video. Separating the rubber ring from the cap using a screwdriver makes installation easy.
