I would have given the starting is five stars but when it says sturdiness I meant the elasticity and you can only wrap it around three times at most in thin hair so if you have thick hair maybe once or twice it is not stretchy as you may need it to be. Overall we have thin hair and they work really nice especially when doing stylish designs in either your hair or your toddlers and works very well on braids. They also come with a nice amount of hair ties as well and my daughter now enjoys me doing her hair because they are coded to where it does not pull the hair from your head. They do slip out with barely any issues.
