Guy has such infectious humour, at ease with everyone whom he meets, and has a very honest approach to life. Do not worry if you are not a bike fan, because the scenes of real life in India are a very enjoyable geography lesson. He was not shy of pointing out the divide between the very rich and the very poor, but found the slum areas humbling because their inhabitants were quite content. Smiles abounded everywhere, and respect was mutual. He is not worried about having a go at things, but he has a natural talent for doing a good job, and blending in and allowing the viewer to be part of the programme.I know that we have enjoyed the likes of Mr Portillo and Mr Palin on their travels, but Guy Martin is up there with the best. I hope that there will be more travel programmes of such a true eccentric.It must be the tea! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Guy-de to India *by C***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 June 2016* As an enormous fan of Guy Martin I am naturally biased. This is a great traveller’s guide to India very much in the vain of Sir Michael Palin but from a fanatical tea drinking, motorcycling, truck mechanics perspective.Guy goes in with no preconceptions; his aim is to simply experience India, to learn and not to cast judgement. There are some great moments and whether he knows it or not, he comes out with some very funny lines. Once again this highlights the great partnership between Guy, North One TV and Channel 4.
