Be sure to allow it to fully dry. It should not be tacky. I love this product, and when I put a coat on my decoupaged seashells, the final product is so smooth and glossy It looks like porcelain China. I've tried other thick glosses and this is my favorite. Don't use it like a brush, pat the glue on. There are youtube videos to show how to do it. Very thin when using as top coat to seal glitter. if you put too much it takes away from the shine of the glitter. The glossy product is the best for top coats.
