**Q: Can I fit 2.5mm armoured cable through this?**
A: Sorry I am not sure, I used it with 1'5 mm cable which fitted nicely, 2.5 maybe too thick!

**Q: hi can a 3 core flat grey cable be used with this junction box, Thanx.**
A: Yes I replaced an old halogen lamp with a new led lamp which had integrated round cable and my old one had flat 6mm coming out of the wall all worked ok for added protection you can easily add a blob of silicon or putty for extra weather resistance at the flat end but even without that it seals ok.

**Q: Are there many kinds of waterproof rubber rings? Is it like Elezenioc?**
A: There are rubber seals inside the glands. Provided you use the correct cable diameter (not too small)  this will create a waterproof fit when tightened. The junction box cover has a good seal between it and the box when screwed shut tightly.

**Q: Can this be used to join CAT 5/6 cables together (removing the connector block inside first of course)?**
A: Don’t know about CAT 5/6 cabling specifically but whatever cables are joined inside this block will be dry as the device does exactly what it’s designed to do and that is keep it dry .

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid box - a bit fiddly, not suitable for twin and earth

I used this to install a new security camera. 8mm cable on one end, 13A twin and earth on the other. The box is very well made, great fitment and the two screws to clamp the gasket down are spot on. However, it's not a lot of space to work in, and with stiff 13A twin and earth, frustrating. I got there, but honestly, a floppy 8mm cable is the limit. It serves me right, I should have looked at the spec more. However, getting the 8mm cable in was only slightly easier than the twin and earth. I don't doubt the IP rating on it, but it could use a bit more room for manoeuvre.
