The draws come out right to end and if you lift up, They come out too. **Q: Do these drawers pull out completely?** A: Yes, you simply pull all the way out and then lift upwards slightly to allow the tray to slide over the catch which prevents accidental removal. Recessed rubber feet enable it to sit securely on a work surface. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job - but watch the price .... *by L***M on 20 March 2020* Some mixed reviews and concerns about receiving damaged goods, so I was a bit apprehensive ordering, but it was the size I wanted. I was possibly lucky - mine was not damaged but I really think they need to look at some protective material between the cardboard box and the drawer unit, which came just in a thin plastic bag. It looks fine and the drawers take A4 paper perfectly, though I'm using it for all sorts of things as well to tidy up my study/desk space. Personally I think the construction is perfectly adequate for its intended purpose and and that, used properly, I can see no reason why it won't last. My only concern would be a drawer getting out of alignment in its runners and breaking some plastic. This is based on the fact that the top drawer was misaligned when it arrived and I couldn't get it pulled out more than half way. It took quite a bit of time and anxiety that any minute something was going to crack apart - I had to try and push the side panel out a bit to get the drawer back into the little runner. I do think it's more expensive than it should be (though, having said that, I thought most of the ones I looked at were too dear for what they were!). Update: looking to buy again the day after I received it, I was shocked to see that it was now £12 dearer in the same colours. And then it was back to £27! Bought two more, both delivered safely.
