Whilst these look better on a floor lamp of a similar diameter base, if your base is smaller, we wouldn't recommned going much lower than a 30cm diameter base, to ensure the lamp is not too top heavy, and prone to falling over if knocked. **Q: Do you sell hexagonal shaped lampshade kits. Instructions were clear and concise and I have ended up with a rather professional looking lampshade in the wallpaper of my choice for a very reasonable sum of money - it's a winner ! I think you have to have a degree of ability in the craft sense - you can't be completely ham-fisted (definately not a project for children to undertake on their own as its fiddly, especially towards the end) - But as long as you take your time, stay patient (!) and follow the instructions I think it would be very difficult to mess this project up.
