But if you scour the surface first, you might be lucky. **Q: I have painted skirting boards were knots havent been sealed will this work to stop bleeding from knots coming back through** A: Not super impressed with this when trying to stop “greasy” leaking from decorator’s caulking. If it was me, I’d use original knotting compound which always works. **Q: Do you have to do it over the entire wall or can it just be the patches?
