The straps are wide and comfortable, and easily adjusted to fit our (slim) flat-coated retriever. He seems to like it and looks very comfortable while wearing it. I use it more for car travel than walking but she has shown no hesitation in walking in it which is a first for her! It is strong and extremely well made and the handle is very useful in helping her out of the car.Repurchased this on behalf of my sister's Basset Hound and again she and her dog are both very happy with the harness.
