It is not permanent in the same way a Sharpie is or Laundry pen is but it will do a good job in place of these in most instances. However, a thicker consistency of fluid in the marker & as such it can leave a very slightly raised line/mark. This means that it might get scratched , bumped or knocked off in contact with other objects bumping it - or if you have a grandchild that is determined to pick her name off her lunch box! A couple of initials on the neck of a school sweatshirt survive many 30deg washes, as do names on labels. Rock decorating is excellent & I use them to write on my glass storage jars etc... all with no issue. Excellent all round pens - shake well before use & keep the lids on they last well. **Q: able to use on a desktop keyboard for lettering?** A: i don't see why not , i din't know how long it would last, i think it's a case of suck it and see..cheers glennm **Q: will it work well on glass?** A: It will but I suggest that you practice before you apply it to the final piece. I would recommend it. Good for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not so good on plastic *by M***T on 10 January 2023* Wanted a white paint pen to identify SD cards but not sure if this was the best option. Once the paint is dry it it will flake off with little effort. Probably good for more artistic efforts but may consider another option next time.
