Do NOT buy, instead go to the main DIY stores ask them to scan the color from an advert showing the right red color, then apply 2 layers and finish with clear yacht varnish. Thankyou** A: hi its more of a sheen, I would recommend using a clear gloss paint over it. it is a beautiful colour but definitely use a protective cover layer as it can ware off in places after a few uses outside. still highly recommend **Q: What type/size/shape/brand of Brush was used to get the best finish? Or did you use something else?** A: I used a small flat artists paint brush that was a quarter inch wide with medium bristles. Any small brush that is flat and about the width of your thumbnail will be fine, but I wouldn't go much wider. I painted it on the worn parts of my Louboutins and then rubbed with a tissue for it to blend in. I gave the shoes two coats and then put the finisher on which gave them a good shine.
