I put this on my hair. I bleach my hair ice-blonde and it needs a lot of conditioning. I used to lather it in olive oil but switched to castor oil and the difference is huge. My hair feels like normal, unbleached hair...if you bleach your hair, you'll appreciate how hard it is to keep/regain that state of silky hair. Castor oil is incredible for bleach damaged hair. It's very thick and takes a bit of working into the hair, but after covering my hair in it and washing it out after an hour, the condition of my hair has been transformed. Dry, lifeless hair is soft and shiny and my scalp feels better for it too. It's sticky and messy, but well worth doing for the improvement.

I bought this to thicken my eyebrows and hair which is curly, now grey and coloured but it used to be dark, fairly fine and a lot of it, after being told by the person threading my eyebrows that a lot of Asian women put castor oil on their hair, leave it overnight, twice a week to thicken it. I researched it and came across this lovely oil. I love Pukka tea bags so the name was already familiar. It's so nice to use, non smelly, and washes off amazingly easily and it has no added nasties. I have been using it for a couple of months, except for a two week break whilst on holiday so it is too soon to tell if it will thicken my hair and eyebrows (I am not Asian, but white British, when I read reviews I wondered if it would work on Caucasian hair without darkening it but it doesn't darken it ). I have high hopes and would definitely recommend, even for conditioning. It leaves hair feeling very soft and non-frizzy. I'm thrilled with the product.

This oil is real Gem, its difficult to use because it's so thick in consistency. However once you've got used to it and applied liberally to your hair, and in my case kept on overnight underneath a silk cap the results are amazing! You do look rather gross when it's on but ignore that bit. Luscious, silky shiny hair with no oiliness awaits. I thoroughly recommend for anyone really. I now treat my hair once a week and the payoff is brilliant. I'd say no need for expensive conditioners with all sorts of weird ingredients you've never heard of. Give it a go ***

Golden yellow in colour and odourless. Thick and sticky in consistency.My hair had been suffering badly. Experienced loads of hair falling out as a result of iron deficiency. I'm now back on the iron tablets and hair no longer falling out. However I still suffer with dry and brittle hair that is very hard to keep moisturised (afro relaxed, 4c). This oil is fantastic. Unlike most people here, because my hair sucks up moisture like nobody's business I can get away with using this straight on my hair and scalp as a leave in moisturiser. Keeps my hair incredibly soft with minimal greasiness. A little goes a long way. Just rub it on my hands and then through my hair. Don't need to use every day. Maybe 3 or 4 times a week with a hair wash twice a week. Have been using for over a month now and my hair feels much healthier, softer, less breakage. The area where I was losing the most hair is growing back nicely and that's also where I focus on massaging in the oil.I also use it as a leave in conditioner after I have washed my hair before blow drying. It just works however you use it.Love it. Will be buying again.

Amazing for the person that wants to revitalise their hair . I use this with my scalp massager and a bit of coconut oil and it works magic on my dry over bleached hair . It’s helped me to grow my hair out quicker and makes the grown out roots much stronger and increases thickness ! Just use a carrier oil with it such as coconut or olive oil as this can be difficult to wash out . But mixing it with another oil makes it much easier to wash out and increases benefits !! Also amazing fro growing out my eyebrows !

I have been using this product every night for the last few weeks. I had massively over plucked my eyebrows and wanted them to grow back quickly. Quick research and found Castor Oil. My eyebrows are growing back super full and fluffy and after only 17 days I’m very pleased and impressed with the results. I have been using a cotton bud to apply the castor oil onto my brows and massaged it in before bed. I’ve let it soak in over night and washed it off in the Morning. Would highly recommend this product as clearly does the job!

The item in itself is ok but when I I ordered this item was supposed to be for treating eyelashes growth. Amazon fault though!
