Can I get a replacement lid please?** A: Don't think so - we have found its always the lid that breaks. So just get a new one. Bins very useful in the garden! **Q: I have a cupboard with dimensions of 35cm x55 x 40 (W X H X D). Will this bin fit?** A: Yes, although the width might just make it (35 x 34 x 30). **Q: Does it fit a 300mm cupboard** A: No this dose not fit a 300mm unit. this would fit int a unit of 400mm upwards. **Q: I have a under sink bin of similar dimensions but steel outer has rust marks. Is it fixed on to the door or cupboard wall?** A: The current Hailo bin is fixed to the door, whereas my earlier Hailo binwas fixed by 2 black metal perforated brackets to the wall of the cupboard, with a metal pin attached to the door fitting into a groove in the base of the bin, pulling the bin out on its 2 pivots: the old bin cover was fixed and was closed by a roller mechanism. In 15-odd years of use I never had any rust on my bin, although there may have been very slight rust on the perforated (heavy-weight) interlocking brackets fixing to the cupboard wall. The new bin looks similar but is more compact. However, I would have preferred to pay a fiver for a new plastic bin liner, as only the liner bucket had let us down by cracking at the base!
