Very disappointed, waste of money. **Q: How many do you get? And what the is the size of each strip? I don't see the info in the description...** A: 8 strips in total, two are approximately 1/2inch by 8" two are 3/4inch by 4" and four are 1" by 4" **Q: Am I to understand that the black tape will apesr black during the day or in lighted areas and then appear almost white at night?** A: The ones I had appeared gray during the day. They were very bright at night but that didn't stop me from being struck by a car. I took the strips off, after I recovered. Couldn't get the glue off though and I've tried everything I can think of. **Q: Are these waterproof - as in, would they work on a kayak?** A: I washed the coat I put them on and I wore it in the rain and the reflectors never came off. This is by far the most reflective and best adhering product I have ever tried. If it were socially acceptable, I would wrap these around her head like a headband.
