Had Xtreme Mats in my last condo and was most impressed with their design and quality. No issue with those mats ordered roughly three years ago. Of the three recently ordered, was only able to keep this one, the smaller of the three. The two larger mats were warped and would not lay flat. Tried leaving them in the sun as suggested by Xtreme. Also tried weighting them down in hopes of flattening them. No luck. At the price-point they should lie flat. Will reorder another of this, smaller size to replace one of the larger warped mats. Will look elsewhere for a replacement for the largest of the three. Happy with this, the smallest mat ordered, very disappointed in the larger mats. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are great, but the shipping is the key *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2021* I ordered one of these for one of our sinks. It arrived several days later in a perfect box. It was an easy installation and looks like it will last for a long time and work well. Then, I ordered a second one for the other sink. It arrived in a taller, but narrower box, and was curved in order to jam it in. I had to spend a few days straightening it out. I dropped the review one star for that. The product is good, but Amazon shipping was less than great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needed for Peace of Mind *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2021* It’s tough to leave reviews on things like this because in reality, there isn’t much to them. It’s a hunk of plastic, like a tray for boots or shoes, in this case protecting the bottom shelf of a cabinet. You don’t even think about needing these until you do. Believe me, one leaking bottle of who-knows-what or an untimely garbage disposal failure and you know what I mean. Not knowing it for a day or two, even the best wood can be stained beyond repair. Cheap particle board is trash. This can save a lot of work replacing a trashed shelf.If you don’t need to do any cutting (i.e. the water supply comes from the bottom) and the size is close to the dimensions of the cabinet base, this is one easy application. Simply remove any items on the shelf, clean up, and slide this in. Done.If you have to cut, then measure twice, cut a hole for the supply line a slot to the hole, slide in and done. This is thick enough to protect, but still can be cut with a decent box cutter, If you want to have extra precaution, caulk up the cut parts.Like a boot tray, this should hold plenty of leaking fluids. The Xtreme Mat is thick and sturdy. Some complained it doesn’t lay flat, didn’t have any issue, and after placing a bunch of bottles of cleaners and towels and other items, who would know anyways.These also can be multi-purpose, from boot trays (which never seem to be big enough for boots), to shelf liners. My only gripe is the price, they are not cheap. On the other hand, this is something you’re likely to put in place and never have to replace, simply remove and clean up occasionally.
