You can sterilize it by lowering into boiling water - there's a hole for a string or wire to pull it out of the water.You can use it as a staging area for tinder or charred cloth while lighting a flame - this is especially useful when you're in an environment where it's raining cats and dogs and everything is wet.You can cut fishing line with the can opener blade, or you can spool line around it and use it as the world's smallest fishing pole. You could scale fish with it. It just might save your life.Yes, occasionally the pointed arm will swing open while in your pockets and it can rip a hole in the pocket if you yank on it to grab your keys.
