For me personally, I used this product along with water, Gatorade, and gel throughout the duration of my marathon (6hours) to prevent dehydration. The tablets complimented my fuel/hydration plan and I never experienced any dehydration. You can’t rely solely on the tabs, you have to consume fluids as well throughout whatever activity you’re doing that is causing you to lose sweat excessively. Perhaps that may be why, in your opinion, the amounts are low.
